{Pretty, Happy, Funny, Real}
~Capturing the context of contentment in everyday life with Like Mother, Like Daughter~
I had thought to try to avoid filling my phfr posts with pictures of Katie but, let’s be honest: she’s my main companion for the majority of my waking hours, she’s the most photogenic person in this house, and she (and Jonathan) are the people I’m most grateful for in this life, so it’s only appropriate that she should be featured here rather heavily.
{Pretty}
Another gorgeous sunrise. A bit more muted, perhaps, than last week’s, but lovely nonetheless.
{Happy}
This little girl’s love of her dad – and her love of books – make me happy.
{Funny}
Katie has started grabbing my phone whenever she has the opportunity. She holds it to her ear for a bit, babbling all the while, then pulls it away to look at it with a puzzled expression on her face, then right back to the ear it goes. Quite the little mimic, though, in reality, neither Jonathan nor I talk on our phones all that often.
{Real}
She loves to “help”! This is why chores take ten times as long as they used to take, but I love her inquisitive spirit.
Those are the {pretty, happy, funny, real} moments around here this week.How about you? Head on over to Like Mother, Like Daughter or leave a comment here and share the contentment you captured this week!
She’s so cute! I love her look of skepticism when “talking” on the phone, like she’s not sure whether to believe what the other person is telling her.
What a sweet little girl! My 3 and 5 year old like to talk on their “phones” too (old calculators), and it’s hilarious the one-sided conversations they come up with!
