{Pretty, Happy, Funny, Real}
~Capturing the context of contentment in everyday life with Like Mother, Like Daughter~
{Pretty}
Earlier this week, Jonathan stopped by a local thrift store and found the perfect chair to go with our roll-top desk. He moved the desk into our room, cleared it off, and gave me my very own writing corner. Isn’t it lovely in the morning light? (This could just as easily have been filed under “happy,” but I already had a perfect happy moment.)
{Happy}
Katie is a walking machine! The sight of her tromping around with her dad makes me happy. Really, the sight of her doing anything with her dad makes me happy.
{Funny}
This girl. This girl is funny (and fun). Whether she’s talking on a remote or peeking into the shower or wearing her hat inside, we enjoy life together.
{Real}
I intended to pick all of the tomatoes and trim all of the basil before the first frost hit, but I did not, with this as a result. Oops. (Though the fact that we had tomatoes and basil into November is really rather remarkable.)
Those are the {pretty, happy, funny, real} moments around here this week.How about you? Head on over to Like Mother, Like Daughter or leave a comment here and share the contentment you captured this week!
I just love the little feet under the curtain!
